No volcanic activity was seen in satellite images over the past day from Ahyi Seamount during partly cloudy views. Intermittent pressure sensor data from Wake Island did not detect any signals from the directions of Ahyi Seamount either.

There are no local monitoring stations near Ahyi Seamount, which limits our ability to detect and characterize volcanic unrest there. We will continue to monitor available remote hydrophonic, seismic, and satellite data closely.
