HAWAIIAN VOLCANO OBSERVATORY STATUS REPORT

19°25'16" N 155°17'13" W, Summit Elevation 4091 ft (1247 m)
Current Volcano Alert Level: WATCH
Current Aviation Color Code: ORANGE

UPDATE: The summit eruption of Kīlauea Volcano, within Halemaʻumaʻu crater, continues at this time. Surface activity continues in the active lava lake, and lava is flowing on the crater floor from the west vent, and from breakouts along the far eastern portion of the crater. Tilt is currently on a flat trend. Lava will likely be on the surface of the active lava lake this evening.
