Asteroid 9564 Jeffwynn is a Mars-crossing Phocaea-group asteroid that is 5-12 kilometers in diameter, depending on its albedo. It has an inherent magnitude of 13.8 and an orbital period of roughly 6 years. The asteroid name was chosen by Caroline Shoemaker, who wrote the following citation, reported in the Minor Planet Circulars, 1999 November:

Discovered 1987 Sept. 26 by Carolyn S. Shoemaker and Eugene M. Shoemaker at Palomar.
