About

Megan is an Operational Geophysicist for the USGS InSAR group. She orders and processes data for the Cascades volcanoes and assists group members as needed. She also performs web development, database administration and testing, and other computer or technical issues for the group.

Research Interests

Megan got her BA in Mathematics before following a lifelong dream of studying Geology. She quickly realized that her forte was working with computers rather than field work and pursued an MS in Geology with an emphasis on Geophysics. She is interested in using computers to represent geological problems and concepts and facilitate research. She has been in the field of InSAR for only a few years but has enjoyed learning about the subject and is eager to learn more.
