USGS Volcano Hazards Program Volcano Update

The real-time computer system located two small earthquakes in the vicinity of Long Valley caldera since the last update at 10:15 AM (PST) on November 8. Both were located beneath Mammoth Mountain; a M=1.0 earthquake at 7:57 PM and a M=1.7 earthquake at 11:21 PM on the 8th.
